The Practice Toolkit
Practice Toolkit Overview The Practice Toolkit is a collection of practical, condition-specific resources designed to help clinicians translate course learning into everyday patient care. Built around real outpatient gynecology workflows, the toolkit includes four key components: Sample Note Templates – Condition-specific documentation templates that support clinical reasoning, comprehensive assessment, medical decision-making, patient education, and shared decision-making. These templates can be adapted to individual practice settings and EMR systems. These templates are designed to personalized by clinicians and adapted to individual workflows and systems by the user. Billing & Coding Resources – Foundational guidance on evaluation and management (E/M) coding, including both time-based coding and medical decision-making, along with commonly used diagnosis codes and links to additional coding resources. Patient Education Materials – Evidence-based patient handouts and after-visit summaries available in English and Spanish, along with trusted online resources to support patient understanding, self-management, and continued learning between visits. These are designed to be personalized by the clinician and adapted to individual workflows and systems. Professional Resource – Curated links to clinical guidelines, professional organizations, evidence-based resources, and ongoing learning opportunities to help clinicians stay current and continue building expertise beyond the course.
